Everett Quarter Horses was founded in 1993 with the purchase of our foundation mare, Lone Star Serenade, a sorrel Quarter Horse mare also known as Sierra.  With the owners’ cumulative background in Hunters/Jumpers and Western Riding, “Sierra” was successfully shown in both English events and in halter events as well.

In 1998, Sierra gave birth to Everett Quarter Horses’ premier stallion, Temons RedHot Tamale, a sorrel son of Temons Hard To Beat (owned by Robert and Angie Perry of Hahira, GA) who is an own son of Temon, sire of Quarter Horse World Champions and Reserve World Champions.

Temons RedHot Tamale, aka “Cisco,” was successfully shown in halter events on the local and state level from 1998 through 2002, when he was retired to the breeding shed.  Some of his most notable honors include:

· Reserve Halter Champion in his second showing as a                           weanling against grown horses

· Multiple Grands and Reserves from local level shows

· Grand Champion Stallion at the 1999 SOWEGA Breeder’s Futurity

· 1999 Hi-Point Year End Awards in Yearling Halter Stallions and All-Aged Halter Stallions with Worth County Saddle Club

· Grand Champion Stallion at the 2001 SOWEGA Breeder’s Futurity

· 2001 Hi-Point Year End Award in All-Aged Stallions with Worth County Saddle Club

· 2001 Number 3 Qualifier in Halter Stallion with Deep Dixie Association to go to Georgia Federation of Saddle Clubs’ State Show

· 2002 Number 1 Qualifier in Halter Stallion with Deep Dixie Association to go to Georgia Federation of Saddle Clubs’ State Show

Today, Cisco is happily living out his retirement from the show ring with a merry band of broodmares.  He has produced several show quality foals.

Everett Quarter Horses operates on the premise that a happy customer will be a repeat customer.  Quality foals and breedings to Cisco are available, along with excellent mare care and artificial insemination services.  Both owners are certified by the University of Georgia in artificial insemination.
